Quelques mesures feront du bien aux parents d&#8217;\u00e9l\u00e8ves et aux \u00e9tudiants : r\u00e9duction (50%) de l&#8217;abonnement scolaire aux TEC et \u00e0 la STIB &#8211; cumulable avec la r\u00e9duction &#8220;famille nombreuse&#8221; -, aides financi\u00e8res aux parents en difficult\u00e9 pour payer voyages scolaires, excursions, etc. (maximum 100 euros), augmentation des allocations d&#8217;\u00e9tudes et extension du b\u00e9n\u00e9fice de ces allocations \u00e0 plus de familles (rel\u00e8vement du plafond de revenus).<br \/>\n(Le Soir, 29 ao\u00fbt 2008)<br \/>\nOn est encore loin de la gratuit\u00e9 totale, seule voie vers une vraie d\u00e9mocratisation de l&#8217;\u00e9cole. On ne peut non plus assurer que les mesures annonc\u00e9es suffiront \u00e0 compenser l&#8217;inflation du co\u00fbt de la vie.
